Abtsolution
Abtsolution Style: Belgian Strong Dark Ale By: De Proefbrouwerij ABV: 9%IBU: Not Provided Rating:

Description

We are thrilled to welcome Daniel Carey of New Glarus Brewing Company as our 11th annual partner in this series. In the true spirit of the project, we have created a beer based on the classic Belgian Abt style, with unique Wisconson contributions including Santiam and Chinook hops. To further highlight the Dairy State we've added lactos foe extra mouthfeel and richness. The result is a dark ale from our use of French and American oak along with spicy hop notes. This ale is designed to drink now, but we believe will evolve beautifully over the next 1-2 years. Enjoy Abtsolution with roasted meats, rich cheese and of course, friends. Cheers!

Bourbon Barrel-Aged Arrogant Bastard
Bourbon Barrel-Aged Arrogant Bastard Style: Strong Ale - American By: Arrogant Brewing ABV: 8.1%IBU: 100 Rating:

Description

I, from a slumber that’s been anything but peaceful. I don’t take kindly to idling and I am anything but neutral. Life has nothing to do with killing time, and the knowledge that months have passed since the onset of my sequestering in this pitch-black oaken tomb (albeit a barrel flush with brilliant aromas of vanilla and char) does not sit well. But then comes a tingle followed by rejuvenating warmth, signs that something is different…something has changed…and for the better. I feel stronger yet somehow more nimble and refined. I feel even more self-assured, and my vision for what is good and right, honest and true, is as laser-sharp as the brawny, bawdy, liquid Arrogance that shall further advance my battle against all things mediocre and geared toward the lowest common denominator. I have been born anew and, in the process, anointed with vibrant, inspiring, previously unexperienced character, all while maintaining everything I am and have always been—bold, bullish, unadulterated, and yes, Arrogant. Are you Worthy of quaffing a beverage of this intensity, irreverence and quality craftsmanship? Not likely, but for those who “get it,” I know my time in this bourbon barrel has not been wasted. Cheers to you, enlightened imbiber. On second thought, cheers to me!

Game of Thrones - Bend the Knee
Game of Thrones - Bend the Knee Style: Golden Ale By: Brewery Ommegang ABV: 9%IBU: Not Provided Rating:

Description

Bend the Knee is brewed with pils malt and flaked oats and hopped with Saaz, Bravo, and Styrian Golding hops. It pours a golden hue with a large, frothy head. Both the aroma and flavor mix maltiness and citrus from the hops, while Ommegang’s signature house yeast produces prominent fruitiness. Wildflower honey added during fermentation provides light sweetness to the beer, which finishes dry and with firm hop bitterness. Fit for any feast table, Bend the Knee’s clean and balanced flavor and effervescent carbonation make it a fine pairing for a variety of foods including seafood and shellfish, roasted or grilled chicken, grilled steaks, and aged Swiss-style cheeses.

Sobrehumano Palena ‘ole
Sobrehumano Palena ‘ole Style: Sour - Ale By: Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales ABV: 6%IBU: 22 Rating:

Description

Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales (Dexter, MI) and Maui Brewing Co (Lahaina, Maui, HI) collaborated to create Sobrehumano Palena ‘ole or “superhuman”. It is actually Maui’s first collaboration in a can, brewed with passionfruit and cherries. This is Jolly Pumpkin’s edition of the collab. Each brewery will add its own unique spin – as Maui will ferment normally (arriving in cans), and Jolly Pumpkin will make it a barrel aged sour (in bottles). The beer was designed with two noble fruits from the two states Cherries & liliko’i.

Phantasmagoria
Phantasmagoria Style: IPA - Imperial / Double By: Prairie Artisan Ales ABV: 8%IBU: 70 Rating:

Description

Phantasmagoria is an IPA that is low in malt flavors, but high in hops. We brew this beer as a nood to the big hoppy beers of the west coast. We use loads of citrusy and piney hops at the end of the boil and in the fermenter to make this beer a hop experience.

This complex, double India Pale Ale has an intense citrus and floral hop aroma balanced by a velvety malt body which has been augmented with lactose milk sugar. With this different take on an IPA we have brewed an ale that is both pleasing to drink and, once again, “not normal.” Cheers!

Blanche de Chambly
Blanche de Chambly Style: Witbier By: Unibroue ABV: 5%IBU: 10 Rating:

Description

(White of Chambly) was the first bottle refermented ale produced by Unibroue. It is brewed from a blend of pale barley malt, wheat malt and unmalted wheat, to which we blend selected spices and hops. Blanche de Chambly is only partially filtered, retaining its natural cloud of yeast that is characteristic of the original white ales brewed during the Middle Ages. We recommend this remarkably refreshing
